While Sunstone can be found in multiple places on Earth, Oregon Sunstone is unique in that it is the only place where Sunstone has Copper in it.
The Copper can be in the form of tiny specs, sheets of Copper and/or show a Red or Green “Bullseye” (stain) and sometimes both depending on the depending on the angle it is viewed from.
When the Copper is in Sheet or Ribbon form, those sheets/ribbons generally lay between cleavage planes.
This specific stone has a Light Green Bullseye which also shows some Red and also shows Ribbons and sheets of Copper.
