Zandrite® is a man-made glass that was specially developed by combining rare earth elements such as neodymium, lanthanum, and cerium to create its dramatic color change and color shift properties.
Of the 4 colours produced, Gemstones by Chris offers/carries Purple (Amethyst colour) which turns to Blue under Fluorescent lighting and an Orangey-Red or Cranberry-coloured glass under most lighting conditions which turns to Sour-Apple Green under Fluorescent lighting.
