This Site’s Construction is Complete
WELCOME to Gemstones by Chris Website.
Thanks to the great help and guidance from a friend (Marnie), I have all but finished this site as planned for this day (Jan. 31, 2024). As far as I know, everything that really needs to be done has been done however, I need to go over all of the functionality one more time and delete all the draft pages, do a couple updates and optimize the site for both the Host Server and Google Search Engine.
As such, the STORE remains in a Demo-Testing Mode only but should be open for business by the end of this coming weekend .. maybe even sooner. I am now actually able to process orders however, I recommend you wait until I have removed the “demo testing” notice at the very top of the page and make a final announcement of the Grand Opening.
Not only have I already photographed ALL of my gemstones, I have actually taken new photos of many that were previously photographed, now in a greater resolution.
I would still like to produce a short video clip of each and every stone and had hoped to have already done that but for now I have chosen to K.I.S.S. until I see how things are working for everyone else. Plus considering the amount of time and effort that is surely going to take, I might choose to do that only for New Gems as they are upload … in the future. That said, I will likely update the site weekly with any and all new or freshly cut gemstones.
There are still a few photo Placeholders that require images but I hope to have those resolved by the weekend as well.
Meanwhile, if you are in need of a Gemstone for a Gift or any Jewellery-related needs, please contact me at your convenience. ALL of my gems can still be seen on my Gemstones by Chris FACEBOOK Page (photo gallery). I also have a good variety of Gemstone Rough in stock for anyone requiring a “special” stone to be cut. And of course if anyone has any questions or inquiries, you are welcome to use the “Contact Us” form as it is fully functional now.
I sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience as this has been a long, drawn-out process but all the time and effort I (and my friend) have put into it is going to start paying off in just a few more days. I do hope that you will continue to check in to watch the website grow. You are also welcome to sign up for the Gemstones by Chris NEWSLETTER to stay informed about this website’s progress as well as information regarding any new gemstones being added to the site. The NEWSLETTER (essentially a Blog) will also keep you informed of any upcoming and/or current SALES.

I forgot all about sending that. I must have ask you for your shipping address ? I do know you certainly deserved it. I am forever grateful for you gift, giving me an opportunity to start cutting gemstones. In fact, the first and second stones I ever cut were from that material and they are both on this site, hoping to be sold. They’d be listed under Quartz (Synthetic). They are two Round gems (SRB’s). There are a couple more on the site that were also cut from that parcel you so kindly gifted me at your own expense back in 2019. Thanks again Dianna.
